AIR challenges the concept of the traditional, visually heavy, chest of drawers.
With a cleverly concealed structure, the drawers appear to float creating a sense of lightness and intrigue.
Each drawer gets incrementally smaller from bottom to top, reducing by 1cm each time adding to the feeling of lightness.
Positioned against a wall and with the bookmatched grain on top pointing towards the front, the design leads you unconsciously to pull the drawer from the gently beveled edge underneath.
Made from FSC laminated birch ply and oak veneer and finished with a water-based hardwax with zero VOC’s.
